Quick enough for a ready dinner. Plenty enough to freeze. Excellent with Jalapeno Cornbread!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch Oven, add onion and green pepper, sauté over medium heat until soft. Add ground turkey; when slightly cooked, sprinkle with Chili Powder. When turkey is cooked through, add beans and tomatoes, with their juice, and the tomato sauce.
  2. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Taste and add red pepper, hot sauce and additional Chili Powder as needed.
  3. Simmer additional 10-15 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with Fritos or Jalapeno Cornbread, hot sauce, shredded cheese and sour cream, on the side, for garnishing.
