Use a combination of super hot and regular Frank's and (I have added a PDF file right here to test something out) 20-30 shakes of scotch bonnet hot sauce to heat it up. Remember, this is a plan-ahead by at least a day dish. Pick up the wings from Rocket City Meats and let them sit in the fridge overnight.
Original recipe from here.
Directions
- Line large sheet pan with foil and place two baking racks on top of the pan.
- Combine baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder in big red bowl.
- Toss wings in bowl to coat evenly with the baking powder and spices.
- Place the wings on the rack in a single layer and allow to sit in refrigerator overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Bake for 60 minutes or until wings are light golden brown and crispy. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
- Whisk together the hot sauce, butter and honey in the big red bowl; toss the wings, 5 or 6 at a time, to coat evenly.
- Serve with celery sticks and ranch & bleu cheese dressing.
- Note: Start one batch of fries in lower over shortly before wings are done. Put second batch in oven while wings are resting.
